Kassner again claims in this section that she is pushing to make sure that state funding takes care of the costs of education in the district’s towns. 

State funding most assuredly does not take care of the ever increasing costs of education in the 2nd Essex. And Kassner identifies no accomplishments which support her claim.

The only specific legislation mentioned in this section is a bill that she co-sponsored with other House members which requires the state’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to ask Beacon Hill for 100% reimbursement for regional transportation costs. 

Yes, you read that right. 

Kassner is citing a bill which asks a state agency to come back to the legislature and ask for 100% reimbursement. 

It is NOT a bill which provides for 100% reimbursement.  This bit of political jujitsu does nothing to help offset the costs of regional school transportation costs.

The remainder of this section on education is a list of measures she supported – not initiated, not drafted, not helped to pass.

Filing is not funding. Supporting is not leading. And attaching your name to the work of school committees and authorities, agencies, and other legislators is not delivering for students.
